One of the things that was important to me with “Ask: Building Consent Culture” is that I wanted to encourage people to think critically about what a consent culture could look like. I didn’t want to offer blueprints and maps, because I don’t believe that we’re even there yet- we need to go back to the very basics and rework our understanding of what consent, and our relationship to it, essentially is.
Consent is a living document.
With that in mind, I’ll be curating a Medium publication, “Consent Culture: A Conversation”. Everything I post on there will be a reflection of some aspect of consent culture, in all aspects of life. I may not always agree with the conclusions the author comes to, but it should always spur some critical thought.
