Consent Culture: A Conversation

One of the things important to me with my consent culture work is encouraging people to think critically about what a consent culture could look like. I never want to offer blueprints and maps, and I don’t like painting myself as an expert, because I don’t believe that we’re even there yet- we (including me!) need to go back to the very basics and rework our understanding of what consent, and our relationship to it, essentially is.

Consent is a living document.

With that in mind, I continue to curate a Medium publication, “Consent Culture: A Conversation”. Everything I post on there will be a reflection of some aspect of consent culture, in all aspects of life. I may not always agree with the conclusions the author comes to, but it should always spur some critical thought.
